David Beckham is splashed by his daughter Harper at Cruz's birthday party

David Beckham may have brightly lit the football field, but it looks like his seven-year-old daughter can teach him something in ice skating.

Harper has turned out to be an ice princess when she stole the skating crown at Beckham's 14th birthday celebration on Cruz's birthday.

While Harper was inspired by watching Tonya Harding's biopic, Becks was caught by a penguin to help him get to the rink, while he had apparently taken the lead on the ice for the first time in its history.

The 43-year-old former English captain documented the mood of the party for his 53.8 million Instagram followers, with the wife of fashion designer Victoria, 44, who also shared good times at Queens Skate Dine and Bowl in London.

The Beckham's parents joined the A-List couple as the Beckhams followed their turn on the ice with a tenpin bowling game in which Becks had the opportunity to hit the heights again.

It was not enough to cast a shadow over Harper's display, in which she showed in a number of Instagram videos that the skating shoes she had received at Christmas had been used wisely.

Looking at every inch of the future skating champion, she would probably have smiled when her father, David, clung to a plastic penguin called Munch to help him stand up.

Later, Harper was the trusted carrier of the cake while Cruz was encouraged to blow out his candles at once, without leaving any birthday sputum.

It was not only Harper who proved she was comfortable on the ice, the birthday boy Cruz did some maneuvers and Becks was describing a photo with "Yes Cruzie".

Just to show that Beckham's kids are better than anyone else in the ongoing Dancing On Ice series, Romeo has been accused of "getting noticed" in a photo that shows that he's managed a slip – or that # He fell!
