Willi King, who played a pivotal role in creating the Zylofon Arts Club, was found dead in his apartment at the Royal Richester Hotel in East Legon, Accra, on Sunday, February 10, 2019.
An insider told Pulse.com.gh that Willi King had recently moved into the new apartment since his home in Tema to help him reduce stress after his night concerts in Accra.
We are told that security agents broke into his room and found his body lifeless after failing to go out all day.
His body was taken to the police hospital tonight.
Willi Roi is also a showbiz critic and a member of the Zylfon FM panel, who was banned from participating in the channel's show "Showbiz Agenda" following an explosion. He was then reinstated.
He has also been a constant critic of the Afro-dancehall musician Stonebwoy since he's signed on to the Zylfon Music label.
With over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Willi King has worked with giants and African music legends such as Fela, Sunny Ade, Sunny Okussuns and Daddy Lumba.
He also writes and sings, and recently trained talents at Zylofon Arts Club.
