Dr. Clement Apaak, member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Builsa South, is pleased with the government's decision to extend the validity of the pbadport from five to ten years.
The government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in a note to all foreign missions in Ghana stated that the validity of ordinary pbadport booklets issued to qualified Ghanaian applicants had been extended from five to ten years. years from March 31, 2019.
Responding to this development, Mr. Apaak, also a member of Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, applauded the move.
He said: "This is good news, so if this materializes, I think it should be welcome."
However, he said measures were being put in place to deal with villains who are issuing pbadports to non-Ghanaians.
