Why Jose Mourinho's next job might be hard to watch for Man Utd fans

Manchester United manager sacked Jose Mourinho is back at work. He has just presented his own show on Russian public television.

Channel RT has announced that it has recruited the former boss of Chelsea and Real Madrid.

His new bi-monthly program will feature "On the sidelines with Jose Mourinho" – and the Portuguese will be covering the UEFA Champions League from 7 March.

The 56-year-old will badyze the station matches without any imminent sign back to the direction on the cards.

"I'm going to talk about football on RT, what did you think I was going to do about it?", Said Mourinho in a promotional video shot on an ice hockey rink posted on Twitter by RT Sports.

Mourinho also appeared this month on a hockey rink in the Moscow suburbs, slipping on the ice and making an unpleasant fall while performing a ceremonial face-lift.

The 56-year-old, who was sacked by Manchester United in December, worked as an expert for RT at the World Cup last year.

RT, which broadcasts information in English, Arabic and Spanish, aims to offer an alternative vision to what it describes as a traditional Western media and to familiarize viewers with Russia's point of view on news.

Critics of the channel, formerly known as Russia Today, accuse him of propaganda in favor of the Kremlin.

According to defender Phil Jones, United had become a "laughing stock" under Mourinho.

Jones insists United has turned the corner with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he climbed into the top four in the Premier League this weekend after beating Fulham 3-0.

"Everyone must take us seriously now," he said via Goal.com.

"We may have been a laughingstock at the start of the season, but it's certainly not the case now, we've proven in the last 10 or 12 games, we're improving, we're improving."

"It was difficult for everyone – the club, the fans, everyone – but it's about becoming stronger and succeeding.

"I have already said, we have not done anything yet, we do not have illusions, but we are going in the right direction."
