Of course, Mayor John Tory heard Drake's request and responded to this request. The CN Tower Twitter account announced Monday that the iconic monument would be lit up with gold to honor all Canadians who won the Grammy Award. "Tonight we are celebrating the gold of outstanding artists whose work shines brightly on the world stage," the report said on Twitter. "Congratulations to the nominees and winners of the Grammys 2019!" If you missed it, Drake saw his speech interrupted last night by the Grammys when he sent a little knock at the committee, telling other artists that they did not need to material to validate their value.
