Before the show began, WWE announced two more matches for the Elimination Chamber. Bobby Lashley will defend his Intercontinental championship belt with the help of his sidekick Lio Rush against Finn Balor in a 2-on-1 match, while Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin will continue their PPV rivalry on Sunday.
The series finally started with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and both touted the big games at Elimination Chamber. We received a video kit about Becky Lynch's quarrel with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Lynch was supposed to be on RAW. We needed to learn more about her injury and the fact that she was allowed to fight.
Stephanie said the WWE would give fans what they want despite Becky's attack on Stephanie. She then wanted to hear the doctors about Becky's health, but Becky's music hit. Triple H stated that he needed to know before the end of the evening if Becky would excuse and win his dream match with WrestleMania, or if she would get rid of it.
The first game of the night was a team fight between teams Sasha Banks & Bayley, The Riott Squad and Nia Jax & Tamina.
