The famous actress Yvonne Nelson has criticized Ghanaian companies by calling them stingy.

Speaking at the show "Atuu" on UTV, the actress revealed some of her difficulties in dealing with Ghanaian companies.

She added that some Ghanaian businesses were stingy and only asked for dinner or lunch dates when she went out looking for sponsorship for her projects.

The actress said that most of these companies are generally interested in going out with her rather than the proposals she's presenting them.

"Ghanaian companies are stingy. They will only waste your time, "Yvonne Nelson told host Abeiku Santana.

"You will take your proposal many times and in the end, they ask you, can we go out? Can we have dinner?

This, she described as a waste of time, because the dates of the dinner and the lunch are not part of the commercial proposal.

To achieve this, Yvonne Nelson said that she did not take care of this kind of thing.

"I did not come to your office to dine with you. I came to do business. You do not entertain like that, she added.

Yvonne Nelson has just released her first film, entitled "Sin City", which will be presented for the first time at Silverbird Cinemas on Valentine's Day.
