Tens of thousands of delegates from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituencies of the Greater Accra region have declared themselves ready to vote overwhelmingly for a candidate for the presidency of the party, Mr. Goosie Tanoh, to be the next NDC presidential candidate for the 2020 General Election.

They pointed out that by examining the history of achievements, the ideology, the quality of leadership and the principles of the six presidential candidates in the presidential elections of the CND, they estimated that Mr. Tanoh had the necessary qualities to win the political power of the New Patriotic Party in power. (NPP) in the 2020 general election.

According to them, Mr. Tanoh has the widest possible appeal among all the candidates, and he can heal the wounds and attract all the sympathizers, sympathizers and disgruntled members, especially the voters who vote in the NDC and who vote for of the party in the polls of 2020.

"The NDC's six potential candidates are qualified to be the NDC's flagship, but Goosie is better qualified to lead the NDC to victory in the 2020 general election.

Delegates badured that Mr. Tanoh would begin the second leg of his campaign tour in the Greater Accra region.

Throughout his engagements among the constituency delegates in the region, the delegates badured Mr. Goosie Tanoh of victory while they were ready to "change the driver of the NDC 2016" that had led the party in a ditch by sending the NDC in opposition. after winning the presidential elections of 2008 and 2012.

According to them, the NDC needs floating voters to take it by 2020, adding that Goosie is charismatic and that he will deliver floating votes.

For his part, Tanoh asked the party's delegates to consider a candidate who proved successful in the election of the party's presidential candidate on February 23.

He urged delegates to vote for a candidate who would gather party members and seek the welfare of Ghanaians and urged delegates not to sell their votes for a pittance.

"Do not vote for someone because you have been given GH ¢ 200 or 50 ¢ because you can vote for that person based on the money that was given to you and not not your antecedents.

"You can store your room with the money you've been given or sacks of rice that some people have given you to vote for a particular candidate, but the items will not last forever.

Mr. Tanoh's position on the ballot for the February 23 vote is number 6.
