Bennington began his musical career in the post-grunge group Gray Daze
Chester Bennington's first band, Gray Daze, has announced that he will re-record his old material with the help of Bennington's friends and family.
In particular, the son of the late Linkin Park member Jamie Bennington, 22, recorded the voice for the project.
Jamie has published several of his own compositions over the years, posting Soundcloud links on his blog. Gray Daze posted a photo of Jamie in the cabin, the legendary:

Marcos Curiel of P.O.D. and Bush's Chris Traynor, as well as Ryan Shuck, a member of Chester's band Dead By Sunrise, also feature on the album.
No release date has been set for the recordings.
Last month, Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton released his collaboration with the late Chester Bennington.
This took place after Morton had discussed the collaboration in December 2018, telling Metal Hammer that he was "blown away" by Bennington's efforts.
"He told me that he really liked the song and that we had communicated, but I had never really been to Chester before we started scouting," said Morton.
"I was really impressed by a man of his level, from the career in which he was, some of his status and his celebrity, to have that level of humility and a sense of humor. Commitment to come here and treat this as if it 's been a Linkin. Park song, or his own song, or something else. I was pretty blown away by that. And it was immediate.
"Fifteen minutes after our meeting, we were standing over a table, one on each side, with scraps of paper and a pencil, scratching out words and trying out different patterns of rhymes and other things. . And after the track was traced, we caught our breath and started talking about more personal things – shit in real life. And yes … he surprised me the most.
