Chelsea is in the process of aligning Zinedine Zidane with his new manager.
Maurizio Sarri is fighting for his post at Stamford Bridge after Sunday's humiliations in Manchester City.
The Chelsea leaders seem to be about to suspend the Italian's performance after a couple of tough days during which they will face each other in four competitions, including a Carabao Cup final against City.
However, the writing seems to be on the wall for Sarri, while the Blues would be ready to turn to Zidane to try to send them back to the top table.
The Sun say Chelsea is ready to leave for Zidane, who has been unemployed since leaving Real Madrid last summer.
Sarri's future was questioned as a result of the Etihad bombing and the fire official admitted his fate was out of reach.
When asked if he felt he was at risk, Mr. Sarri replied, "I do not know. You will have to ask the club.
"I'm worried about my team, worried about the performance, but my job is still under threat, so I'm not too worried about that."
