Eusebio Di Francesco believes Roma star Roma Nicolo Zaniolo deserves praise for his faster than expected development.
The 19-year-old has taken another important step in becoming the youngest Italian to have scored two goals in a Champions League match.
"It's just for him that he's praised, he played well," Di Francesco said at the post-match press conference.
"It is on a development path that exceeds expectations. Matches against which he does not play well are also a reason for growth.
"I hear people rely on Zaniolo, but then it's up to me to train him.
"Now he needs balance, especially with those who surround him."
