A TEACHING badistant who says she went to the hospital showing no sign of pregnancy woke up from a coma and found that she had given birth.
Lisa Davey had "no idea" that she was expecting a little girl when she contracted sepsis and became seriously ill.
The victim, aged 27, was admitted to the emergency hospital at Blackpool Victoria Hospital with an alleged abdominal infection in April 2018.
The doctors discovered that she had a tiny bump on her stomach that they thought could be linked to a possible illness.
But an ultrasound revealed that Lisa was 26 weeks pregnant and had developed HELLP syndrome – a rare liver, a blood clotting disorder that affects some pregnant women.
Lisa's health deteriorated dramatically after the illness caused her to contract fatal sepsis and her organs began to fail.
In order to save the mother and the baby, the doctors decided to take Lisa to the theater for a cesarean section.
BABY MIRACLE
Lisa called her miracle baby – who was born premature 14 weeks – Danielle, according to the "wonderful" nurse who was taking care of her and her newborn baby.
Little Danielle Alice Davey was transferred to the neonatal unit at Royal Preston Hospital for specialized care.
His mother, Lisa, was transferred to the intensive care unit of Blackpool Victoria Hospital – and only discovered that she was now a new mother when she went to work. is woken up in her hospital bed.
Lisa was still working 80 hours a week and did not know at all that she was waiting before being taken to the hospital.

She said, "I could not believe it, I was working 80 hours a week and I was lifting heavy boxes.
"I did not know that I was pregnant, I had no symptoms.
"When I met my little girl a week later, I knew I had to call her Danielle after the fantastic care that I had received from such a wonderful nurse."
Ten months later, mom and baby are doing well and leading a normal life in Blackpool, Lancs County.
As a thank you, Lisa named her newborn baby after 33-year-old Sister Danielle McLardie, who had just started her shift. Lisa was his first patient.

"Nobody had a clue when she came in that Lisa was pregnant – including Lisa herself.
"There was only a little belly bump that could be linked to a possible infection.
"I stayed with Lisa for three and a half hours and I visited her every time I worked.
"When Lisa told me the name of the baby, I cried to be so overwhelmed – I was just doing my job.
"But wearing such a happy bundle of joy is such an honor, it's the culmination of my career."
