The second round of the AFC Champions League 2019 is over and we are no more than one stage of the group stage of the competition.

This is how teams outside the ASEAN area behaved in their respective matches on Tuesday, February 12th.

Saipa FC 4-0 Minerva

The Saipa FC of the Iran Pro League easily beat the Indian Minerva Punjab. Arash Rezavand opened the scoring in the eighth minute before Arman Ramezani doubled his lead at the 24th.

Samuel Sarfo then added another goal for Saipa in the 73rd minute before Rezavand scored his second goal of the night to help his team qualify for the next round against Al Rayyan.

Pakhtakor Tashkent FC 2-1 Al Quwa Al-Jawiya

Pakhtakor (Uzbekistan) was right in Iraq's Al Quwa Al-Jawiya team in a match that scored three goals. Jaloliddin Masharipov opened the scoring for hosts in Tashkent in the 76th minute.

Marat Bikmaev then sealed the contract with a shot in the 84th minute. Hammadi Ahmed hit the visitors three minutes from the end of the match to ensure a run-off final, but Uzbekistan won after all. They will face Al Nasr in the next round.

FC AGMK 4-2 FC Istiklol

FC AGMK, another Uzbek player, qualified for the next round with a 4-2 victory over his Turkmen counterpart. Istiklol opened the scoring in the second minute, but Olmaliq retaliated in the 25th minute to bring the match down.

Turkmenistan took the lead again but AGMK responded with three goals in the second half to secure the qualification in the next round against Al Nbadr.

Zob Ahan 1-0 Kuwait SC

Iranian striker Zob Ahan had to wait a little more time to win. Christian Osaguona scored the only goal in the 110th minute to allow his team to qualify.

They will face Al-Gharafa in the next round of the AFC Champions League.
