Hundreds of protesters gather in different Sudanese cities to protest against autocratic president Omar al-Bashir.
Tuesday's protests were convened by the Sudanese Professionals Association, a group of independent professional unions.
A video clip shows protesters gathering at intersections chanting "Just to Fall" and calling for a "People's Revolution".
The current wave of protests began on Dec. 19, initially because of soaring prices and a faltering economy, but quickly turned into a call at the end of the three-decade-old regime. ; al-Bashir.
Al-Bashir, who took power as a result of a military coup, insists that only elections, which he plans to hold, could bring about changes.
Activists say at least 57 people were killed during protests. The latest government balance sheet is 30 dead, but the numbers have not been updated for days.
