Berekum Chelsea Director Oduro Sarfo said the Standards Committee should show respect to footballers because they worked for them and brought in money.

"If they do not need our money, then they should leave because they're all getting money from us, so they have to give us the necessary respect," he said. he told the media.

The press release issued by the Standards Committee after the cancellation of the special contest has been described as very disrespectful by the clubs of the Ghana Premier League and clubs are demanding apologies from this committee.

Since the publication of this letter, the Standards Committee and the Ghana Premier League Club have quarreled.

Sarfo, director of the Premier League club, Berekum Chelsea, has come to the defense of the club's owners and demands an apology from the committee.
