Manchester United may have been given the green light to pursue Mauro Icardi this summer after a superb double development at Inter Milan.
Mauro Icardi has been part of Inter since 2013, claiming to be one of the club's most important players and even receiving the armband.
However, recent rumors have emerged that his time with the Serie A giants may soon end, with reports suggesting problems have arisen on a renewal of contract with the club.
Don Balon stated that Argentina did not adhere to Inter's ideal of inserting a € 200 million release clause in its new contract, as this was constraining it too much.
Speaking last month, his wife and agent Wanda Nara issued a provocative response to speculation, she plays hard ball on a new contract.

Icardi – who would have a release clause of € 110m – could be an ideal option to replace Romelu Lukaku, who has been behind Marcus Rashford in the hierarchy at United in recent weeks.
