Millwall winger Shane Ferguson signed a new contract at The Den.
Ferguson initially borrowed from Newcastle United in August 2015 before his contract became permanent in January 2016.
The Northern Ireland International made 52 appearances during the 2016/2017 season, scoring four goals as the Lions returned to the league via the play-offs.
Ferguson, 27, would only make nine league games in the next campaign and Neil Harris admitted that he was free to leave the club this summer, but he chose to stay and fight to fill his place .
And his decision paid off, since he started 15 of the last 21 games of the Championship, playing a key role in raising Millwall away from the relegation zone and advancing in the cup.
One of his best moments in the Lions jersey came last month when he scored twice in the FA Cup win against Hull City, holding a tight clash with the Premier League Everton in the fourth round, in which he had also played.
He has scored 12 goals in 153 appearances for Millwall – and joins James Meredith, Mahlon Romeo, Shaun Williams, Jed Wallace and Jake Cooper to secure his future at the club this season.
