According to him, an evaluation of the projects carried out by the Ministry of Education revealed that some of the community day secondary schools are under construction while others have been abandoned.
Answering questions on the floor of Parliament, Prempeh said 21 new community day high schools have been completed since 2017.
"The evaluation showed that some projects were in progress and some had been stopped and others had not even started yet. We also evaluated the impact of these projects in certain areas. Access to school sites can be difficult because of the distance to the nearest communities, "he told MPs.
"Mahama will build 200 SHS during the community day."
