Anthony Joshua will put his heavyweight belts at stake against American Jarrell Miller in New York.
The Anthony Joshua roadshow is finally heading to the United States.
The world heavyweight champion will make his American boxing debut when he will defend his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles against Jarrell Miller at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 1st.
"I intend to embrace the culture and leave with an appetite for more," said Joshua, whose 22 professional fights have all taken place in Britain.
Joshua has won all these previous fights, 21 by knockout. New Zealander Joseph Parker is the only fighter to have taken Joshua away.

His last five bouts have been in stadiums, with nearly 400,000 spectators present. The highest notoriety was against Wladimir Klitschko in front of 90,000 spectators at the Wembley stadium in April 2017.
Britain's Anthony Joshua added Joseph Parker's WBO crown to his WBA and IBF heavyweight titles.
But Joshua is increasingly aware that he needs to fight in the US to improve his visibility.
"AJ has created an incredible atmosphere of" Lion's Den "in the UK and we plan to bring that energy to New York," said Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn.
Miller, who is also unbeaten after winning 23 of his 24 fights, was born in New York.
"AJ is making a big mistake coming here to fight in my own backyard," said Miller.
"He wants to announce himself on the American scene but all he does is give me these belts by hand.

Joshua is looking to unify the heavyweight belts, but the negotiations failed last year with WBA title holder Deontay Wilder, who ended up fighting Tyson Fury in December. They fought for a shared draw.
