The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has set up a committee to investigate the attack of some of its men by Nigerians at Budumburam in Kasoa.
In a video that has become viral, some Nigerians are preventing immigration officers from checking foreigners' residence permits.
Nigerians block the vehicle that policemen drive with cement blocks and wooden objects to prevent them from leaving the premises.
The police watched helplessly as they could not get their car out of the premises because of the blockage.
The Public Affairs Officer of the Ghana Immigration Service, Superintendent Michael Amoako Atta, told Starr News that a committee had been set up to investigate the incident.
He added that the service "would not be ideal for it to remain unanswered".
