Nantes paid tribute to former striker Emiliano Sala on Wednesday night before winning a 1-0 win at Caen, which kept them out of trouble in Ligue 1.

Sala's body was found in the wreckage of a plane crashed last week. Both teams also paid tribute to the Argentine, while the Argentinean had been loaned to Caen during the 2014-15 season.

Sala signed for Cardiff from Nantes during the January transfer window and was traveling to the Welsh city at the time of the accident.
