The star of the Juventus, Douglas Costa, could settle in Manchester United this summer under a deal, according to the latest Italian reports.
the Daily Mirror In December, United said he had agreed to meet Jose Mourinho's longstanding request to add another winger to his front line – and that striker Douglas Costa was the man that the club had already lined up.
Italian television channel Rai Sport then said that an offer of £ 53.9 million had been made for the Juventus winger, making it the fourth most expensive United signing in history, slightly behind Angel di Maria.
Costa then potentially dropped a clue about his future after he recently "loved" a Twitter post linking him to a Manchester United movement.
The 28-year-old Brazilian has another three-and-a-half year contract, which he signed when he finally settled in Italy this summer.
Now, Italian paper Tuttosport propose an update, saying that Costa could still end up at Old Trafford as part of an agreement that brings Paul Pogba to Juve.
They say the Serie A champions have turned down an offer of 60 million euros in recent weeks for Costa, which they consider unsaleable, but that the idea of using it to recover Pogba is tempting
