The strange strategy that Ajax players had to get Sergio Ramos banned

[ad_1]

Kasper Dolberg has made a few eyebrows for an interesting claim that he had made about Sergio Ramos after Ajax's 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The 21-year-old Danish striker was the recipient of the Madrid captain's challenge, which earned Ramos a yellow card and a one-match suspension.

Despite the fact that Ajax were launching a counterattack while leading 2-1 at the Johan Cruyff Arena, it would appear that the suspension of central defender Los Blancos is one of his goals.

Well, that's what Dolberg says, who said his teammate Klaas-Jan Huntelaar told him that Ramos would probably incriminate him when he had the ball.

"Klaas-Jan Huntelaar told me to get closer to Sergio Ramos because there were chances that he would be suspended for the next match," he said (via

Agree, talk about implementing a strange strategy, especially when they could have scored an equalizer in the game.

Ramos is in a risky position to receive a longer ban from UEFA for comments made after the match.

The 30-year-old Spanish captain admitted to having intentionally participated in the challenge on the star of Ajax.

"Do not underestimate the opponent, but sometimes you have to make those decisions and that's what I decided," he said. El Chiringuito TV.

Vinícius Júnior brilliantly badisted Karim Benzema, who opened the scoring for Madrid in the second half.

Hakim Ziyech fought back for Ajax, but Marco Asensio would give Santiago Solari's men a big win in the first leg.

Who will move to the next stage of Ajax and Madrid?

Let us know in the comments.
