Prior to this week's election, BBC Africa went to Lagos on a bus to discover what pbadengers are hoping for in the future of their country.
More than 70 people are running for president, including incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari and opposition candidate Atiku Abubakar.
Nigeria goes to the polls on February 16th.
