Asante badistant coach Kotoko Akakpo Patron said his team would continue to work on their defense to not concede more goals in their upcoming CAF Confederations Cup matches.
Kotoko conceded two goals in the current competition against Al Hilal in the first game lost and against ZESCO United on day two.
They are in 3rd place with three points, the same points as their opponents, but with a lower goal difference after the second day of the competition.
The speed with which the Porcupine warriors continue to score goals at home and away in their matches has raised concerns about the team's defense configuration.
But Boss insists that the technical team is working to reduce the problem in his next matches.
"We continue to work on our defense because we do not want to concede, but sometimes the opponents are good, so we have to honor them, but we will continue to improve our defense," he told Happy FM.
"We are working on the defense to keep them focused until the final whistle of each match," he added.
The former West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) badistant coach also congratulated goalkeeper Felix Annan for his heroic exploits of the day, which gave Asante Kotoko his first victory in the competition.
"Felix Annan was wonderful. He kept us in the game. He was so fantastic. He made great stops to keep the hope and dream alive. "
Kotoko will meet Zambian Nkana FC on February 24, 2019 on the third day of the competition.
