The Gyan family
The wife of Asamoah Gyan, Gifty Gyan, reacted to the news that a paternity test proved that the captain of the Black Stars was the father of their three children.
In October 2018, Gyan reportedly filed for divorce from Gifty in the Divorce and Matrimonial Division of the High Court in Accra.
The report as published by YEN.com.gh stated that Gyan had also denied being the father of their three children and required that a DNA test be performed on all three to determine if he was their father .
After some exchanges, the court set a date for the paternity test. The paternity test, which was read in court on Wednesday, February 13, indicated a high degree of certainty that Gyan was the father, as evidenced by the 20 genetic markers.
Following the development, Gifty used social media to give a simple reaction.
Sharing a photo of herself with Deloris Frimpong Manso, aka Delay, a very popular television personality, Gifty wrote: "No words".
Checks on YEN.com.gh revealed that Delay had also shared the same photo on Instagram to congratulate Gifty on his victory.
"Congratulations to my dear sister Gifty WOOOOWW," wrote Delay. Gifty responded to Delay's congratulatory message with a grateful hand emoji.
