The Accra Rehabilitation Center, created to train people with various disabilities in the country, was closed due to lack of renovation and learning tools.
Mirror investigations reveal that the center's students have been home since May of last year, as the center needs serious renovations without which it could not function.
The dormitory is leaking when it rains, the roof system is in poor condition and the windows are broken.
Again, while some of the training rooms do not have electricity due to unpaid bills, rooms that have been converted into sleeping spaces for students also leak.
