Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said the flagship application of crypto was already in place. In a new interview with Venture Coinist on YouTube, Zhao highlighted the successful launch of Tron's BitTorrent Token (BTT) as a sign that ICOs would come back and remain a powerful new way to raise money.
"ICOs have a little bad reputation because it's total freedom. So there is a lot of chaos. It was too hot. You could write a five-page white paper and raise $ 10 million. And of course, the founders want to do nothing more than write the next white paper. It was therefore too hot and with the bear market in 2018. Many people lost money and this gave a bad reputation to the ICOs.
But looking beyond that, I think that raising money on blockchain, the blockchain fundraiser, is an application that kills. And this has huge implications and huge benefits for entrepreneurs. So we just have to find the best contractors, find the most appropriate projects, legitimate projects, and make sure economic theory makes sense. We must therefore ensure that they do not raise too much, and that the initial prices remain low because the project has not yet been launched. Al-Kuwaiti bank Al-Ahli (ABK) has announced its partnership with Ripple to implement instant cross-border payments for its customers.
According to Arabian Business, the bank says the deal will allow ABK to outpace its competitors, reducing cross-border transaction times from days to minutes.
"ABK will integrate Ripple's enterprise blockchain technology into existing services to provide customers with immediate confirmation based on a secure infrastructure. The bank said its customers would now be able to send essential funds to family, friends and loved ones faster and more efficiently. "
