The Japanese manufacturer Sony brings to the occasion of the Mobile World Congress 2019, besides its two new mid-range smartphones Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus, the new entry-level model Sony Xperia L3 on the market, which is modernized compared to the predecessor with vigor and at the price of 199 Euro remains relatively favorable.
The Sony Xperia L3 remains faithful to the name of the previous line, Sony having apparently renounced to rename it on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of Xperia smartphones. After all, the device is apparently technically refreshed, although the processor used here is not yet clearly defined – but this is probably from the Taiwanese manufacturer MediaTek.

… Sony's design: the Xperia L3
The screen of the Xperia L3 is a diagonal of 5.7 inches slightly larger than that of the previous model, Sony sticking to the concept of offering HD resolution on its entry-level model. Due to the 18: 9 aspect ratio, the Xperia L3's LCD screen works here with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and avoids the front camera recess.
The self-portraits built on the front camera offer at least eight megapixels, without further details. At the back, there is now a dual camera, the main sensor has a resolution of at least 13 megapixels and an additional 2 megapixel sensor is used for the implementation of the effects of depth.
In terms of memory, Sony uses at least three gigabytes of RAM and 32 GB of internal flash memory, which can be extended via a microSD card slot, at least in European models. The fingerprint reader, installed by the Japanese manufacturer again on the right side of the case, between the volume rocker and the power button. The complete set is in a plastic case provided in silver, gray and gold.
With 3300mAh, the battery that can now be powered via USB-C on the L3 is surprisingly large. Unfortunately, the outdated version of Android 8.1 "Oreo" is still used as the operating system, so the use of the MediaTek chip is also recommended. The official price of Sony Xperia L3 in this country is 199 euros and the presentation will probably take place on the occasion of the Mobile World Congress 2019.
