Pink traded 13 stitches after cutting her husband's tires, Carey Hart, at Thanksgiving's "stressful" party

It was not exactly a "beautiful trauma" described by Pink in a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres show.

The 39-year-old singer revealed that she needed several stitches after being injured while carrying a knife to her husband's tires, Carey Hart.

"It was Thanksgiving," Pink told DeGeneres during a series of "Burning Questions," tickling, "The holidays are stressful."

DeGeneres intrigued asked her guest how many tires she had cut.

"I've been clean through the first," Pink said. "(Hart) has a raised F-250 and these tires are very thick, thank you very much.

"In the second, I lost some steam and touched the metal part, my hand just lowered the knife," she said looking at her left hand. "I have 13 stitches, but here's the problem: I did not need any anesthesia, I could not feel anything."

Pink did not specify which Thanksgiving the tire trauma had produced. If it was the most recent, Hart gave no indication on Instagram that something was wrong. In November, he told his supporters that their vacation was "perfect".

Hart, like many celebrities, offered his wife a nice message on Instagram on Valentine 's Day Thursday. "My Valentine loves," he subtitled a black and white photo with his wife and two children: Willow, age 7, and Jameson, age 2.

Pink returned the gesture, somehow … in his own way, according to NSFW.
