Samsung introduced two new tablets. The Galaxy Tab S5e is focused on multimedia applications, the Galaxy Tab A on the entry-level range.
Samsung has introduced two new tablets, the Galaxy Tab S5e and the Galaxy Tab A. The S5e is touted as "the ultimate multimedia tablet" and comes with a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display in 16:10 (2560×1600 pixels) format. as well as a metal case. This case is only 5.5 millimeters thick, the device weighs 400 grams. The battery should be able to play 14.5 hours of video. The sound comes from four speakers developed jointly with AKG and compatible with Dolby Atmos and Auto Rotate Stereo. Inside, you'll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 and 4 or 6GB RAM, as well as 64 or 128GB of memory (expandable via a MicroSD card). The LTE version of the S5e costs 499 €, the WLAN version 439 francs.
For the entry-level range, Samsung has the Galaxy Tab A tablet, featuring a 10.1-inch full HD display. It comes with an Exynos 7904 chip, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of memory. Samsung does not give a price for this device yet. The two new tablets will go on sale in April.
