After the catastrophic failure of Wells Fargo and more recently ING Australia, it is now clear that Chase Bank's servers are down.
Here are some reports:
@OfficialJoelF CHASE BANK SERVERS DOWN !!! I first told him @ me
– Dimas ? (@dimbad_h) February 16, 2019
@hunt @ChaseSupport @JP Morgan Your shit is down. Your Chase Private Client staff can only tell me that "everything is broken and we'll call you back in an hour". Does my debit card work? What is the cause? You must be more informative and responsive. That's bullshit, Jaime Diamond.

@Hunt repair your website, it is currently down and this is a disadvantage

Even the cards do not work for some:
@ChaseSupport @Hunt my brother, I'm going to have fun cleaning everything up. Why does not my card work? Do not bother me here, all are not well fargo wtf
– main compression ? (@_XRozaay) February 16, 2019
My hunting card does not work, I can not even pay my bills online if my payment is declined @Hunt correct it, I have bills to pay before midnight !!!
– Geezyville (@Geezyville) February 16, 2019
@Hunt The card has been declined in several different establishments, but everything is my fault, according to the line of your customer service … uh … I thought you were better than that. pic.twitter.com/BwIdOrDFLT

We can at least access the bank's website, so it's possible that only multiple users are facing this problem.
For its part, Chase did not say anything about this reported failure – at least through its official social media channels. Ironically, this outage comes on the day that it appeared that JP Morgan, owner of Chase Bank, had begun deploying JPM Coin, the first US cryptocurrency.
To get back to the breakdown, we are watching closely and updating the story as we get more interesting news on the subject. In the meantime, use the comments section below to share your current Chase Bank experience.
Update 1
Chase Customer Service tells some customers that maintenance is scheduled but does not have an ETA for the time the system will be up and running.
All @hunt @ChaseSupport the system is down for applications, ATMs, merchant access and online. The customer service says system maintenance. No time for restoration. #pourchbader

Update 2
Looks like Chase's Wells Fargo's Breakdown Day:
@ChaseSupport @Hunt YOUR WEBSITE, APP, CREDIT CARDS, DEBIT CARDS AND ATM SERVICES ENJOY YOU! WHAT IS HAPPENING ????
– Jeremy (@SDJerz) February 16, 2019
@cnnbrk Chase Bank's servers seem to be down, with numerous reports of online, mobile and ATM failures. On Twitter, a customer service representative received a complaint a few hours ago, but now they are silent, their hours being only 23:00 EST! The phone support now has a long time waiting.
– CAstrong16 (@ exuct78) February 16, 2019
Update 3
Chase acknowledged the problem:
We know that some customers are having trouble accessing the mobile app and our website. We want to let you know that we are working on it. thank you for your patience

Update 4
We are currently seeing reports of spam text messages purporting to come from Chase Bank. Customers doubt a fraud and share their experiences online. Here are some reports:
Curious, was @Hunt hacked or the system is down for another reason? Can not access the application, ATM or their website. Yesterday, I received a series of dummy texts asking me to go to a site attached and having to enter a username and pbadword, but it was not Chase.
– Romeo Van Buiten (@designrvb) February 16, 2019
@ChaseSupport I recently received an SMS on the prosecution notice wanted to know where it was real
– Alex I (@apac115x) February 15, 2019
Uhhhhh am i being ripped off now ???? @Hunt @ChaseSupport (I did not click on this shady link, I just opened my Chase app and she did not let me in, help me.) pic.twitter.com/7l3nmF4W35
– lil'mama mo (@morganxbaker) February 16, 2019
Update 5
It looks like Chase's customer support gives contrasting information. We have previously pointed out how some users are informed that this is a planned outage. But now this:
Welp. @HuntThe banking site and the application of are down. A customer service representative told me that it was unexpected and not because of a scheduled maintenance. I sent an email to Chase PR. Cross my fingers …
– Chad Sokol (@bychadsokol) February 16, 2019
Update 6
Here is a workaround shared by the user to view account details and transactions:
If you have configured the Chase Pay app, you can see your accounts and your transactions.
– Lysa ? (@NovocainL) February 16, 2019
Try it and let us know if it works for you.
Update 7
The lack of frequent updates by the bank on this outage has resulted in people turning to their favorite "hacked" speculation in times like these:
Damn, whoever is struggling to open his bank account CHASE? I'm dying to know if I'm broke or not and it stresses me. You guys or hacked or something? @Hunt @ChaseSupport
– Mr. X Gon give it to Ya! (@SCG_INFINITY) February 16, 2019
Are they hacked?
– SpecofDust2330 (@SpecofD) February 16, 2019

– Romeo Van Buiten (@designrvb) February 16, 2019
Update 8
It has been more than 5 hours since this failure started and Chase has only offered an update. Of course, customers are not happy:
@Hunt 5 hours. Can you do something?
– Fade14 (@ Faded1414) February 16, 2019
5 hours and count and only one small update? You really are a well oiled machine eh? The whole bank hangs and you do not say anything
– RafaQuintero (@ RafaQuintero16) February 16, 2019
Update 9
If you stick to what Chase's customer support department told a customer (report below), the situation seems to be very disrupted within the bank's IT division.
I just got on the phone with them after 30 minutes and they just said, "Sorry … the whole online system is down … we do not have a specific timeframe for when it will be fixed." They ruined everything.
– spooky geometry (@sphgrmth) February 16, 2019
Update 10
We now see reports that Chase Bank's services are up.
OMG finally @Hunt is back on the march, I almost had a crisis of anguish
– estinDestiny✨ (@_DeelightfulZee) February 16, 2019
Really?!?!? I can connect to mine maybe wait a few more hours, hope that yours will soon be accessible
– estinDestiny✨ (@_DeelightfulZee) February 16, 2019
