Neo (NEO) opens new offices in Seattle, Washington, ahead of its DevCon Summit in the city

The NEO Global Development (NGD) team has announced the opening of a regional office in Seattle, Washington State. The new office will be headed by former Microsot executive John deVadoss, who will badume the role of director of the office. Mr. DeVadoss has more than 15 years of experience at Microsoft. During his tenure with the technology giant, he took on progressive roles that saw him become the general manager of Microsoft Digital. He also co-founded text11 – a messaging service that implements machine learning.

The office is expected to open by the end of February and focus on recruiting local talent in the Greater Seattle area. Seattle is a strategic city that is home to several high-tech companies such as Microsoft, T-Mobile, Amazon and Expedia. NEO co-founder Erik Zhang explained the importance of creating NEO in Seattle.

Seattle has enormous resources for developers and a strong atmosphere of innovation, and NEO has always placed great emphasis on technology development. Now that we have set up the Seattle office, we have more resources for engineering and improving the NEO developer experience to make it the most user-friendly blockchain platform for developers.

The announcement of the opening of a new office in Seattle comes 24 hours before the holding of the second NEO DevCon to be held in the same city from 16 to 17 of this month. The event is intended to bring together developers, entrepreneurs and the main contributors of the ecosystem. At the conference, the NEO Foundation and its subsidiaries plan to announce new roadmaps and plans for the future.
