A series of fires in downtown Manhattan Saturday forced the evacuation of a theatrical complex where performances of plays like Jersey Boys and Avenue Q were underway. No fire was reported around 8:00 pm west of 50th Street near Eighth Avenue. The cause of the fires was not known.
