Zinedine Zidane is interested in Chelsea or Man Utd … but a problem prevents it – Laurens | Football | sport

Zidane has been unemployed since his resignation from the Real Madrid boss at the end of last season.

The French legend led Real to three consecutive titles in the Champions League before moving to Bernabeu.

While Manchester United has not yet named a permanent successor to Jose Mourinho, Zidane has been tied to the Old Trafford position.

It seems that Chelsea has put Zidane in the spotlight with doubts about the long-term future of Maurizio Sarri at the club.

But Laurens says Zidane's lack of English would be a problem because he could not use his human resource management techniques.

And he also said the 46-year-old would have reservations about how many managers Chelsea has gone through in recent seasons.

"I think we have to see it from his point of view in that it would be a project that interests him," Laurens told ESPN FC.

"I think the idea of coaching one of the big clubs in the Premier League seduces him of course.

"There are some problems, language, and we've already talked about it when he was linked to Manchester United as well.

"Zinedine Zidane is a manager who works a lot on human resources management. They are not all like that, but it looks a lot like that.

"And the language he does not speak a word of English, I think it would see a problem to get his message to the players.

"But also the way he manages all his players, all his dressing room so that everyone feels important, for example in Madrid. It would be a problem.

"The fact that he does not appreciate the lack of stability in Chelsea with leaders who come in and out very regularly – two years for [Antonio] Conté, maybe even less for Sarri.

"It's something he does not like and appreciate, that kind of spirit.

"So there are a lot of things I'm not sure he's so enthusiastic about.

"However, Chelsea is a huge club and it will obviously be interested in a big club and the Premier League is a league that interests it a lot."
