Ivolu International has successfully registered 500 miners in the Ga Mashie as part of its pilot project. The exercise came with a health screening that benefited children and some young adults.
"This program was a success and we were able to enroll many children in keeping with our promises. We thank Ga Manste (King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II), the entire Ga Mashie community for helping us to execute this successfully; they were very responsive. And we pray the Lord helps us to do more.
The numbers were quite large, which prevented some of them from completing the registration process, but were given forms to fully register under the National Health Insurance Plan of the nearest health post , with all the expenses we take care of. We spent the whole day here and after the exercise, we fed them and played them good music, "said Gaska, a member of the Ivolu team.
