The reliable Apple badyst Ming-Chi Kuo made big forecasts for Apple's product portfolio in 2019 in a note to investors, covering almost the entire product line. Kuo, always knowledgeable, reveals new information about the iPad, the MacBook Pro, the iPhone, the Mac Pro, the AirPods and the Apple Watch, although some details may surprise many users.
iPhone 11 with many innovations
Of course, Apple's flagship product is the iPhone. Although the name is still under discussion, there will be this year again three models with well-known display sizes. The connection should also be equal, so that Apple 2019, but not yet put on USB-C. In addition, some innovations are expected. The company must therefore focus for example on Google Pixel 3 and also place a modified glbad, which increases the shutdown.
Inside, however, there should be much more to discover. In addition to improved sensors and antennas for position determination in rooms, the battery can also be expanded to extend the life of the battery. At the same time, the wireless charging function needs to be expanded to allow, for example, the charging of other devices. This could provide the iPhone, for example, the Apple Watch or the AirPods in conjunction with a wireless charging case while on the move, with fresh energy. Open Kuo leaves (via 9to5Mac), however, if all or only one model will receive the triple camera.
Little surprise for iPad users
Unlike the iPhone, the iPad is more likely to receive a small upgrade. Both Pro models will be equipped with new processors later this year. The normal iPad should however grow slightly, at least as far as the display is concerned. According to Kuo, Apple will reduce the size of the edge and increase the display from 9.7 inches to 10.2 inches.
The Mac: bigger, faster, then
This may seem unusual, but Kuo has always been right in such claims: there will be a new MacBook Pro with a 16-inch screen, which could also be 16.5 inches. The 13.3-inch model, however, must receive the next upgrade also an option of 32 GB of RAM, which was previously reserved for the 15-inch model.
In addition to mobile Mac models, there will be finally a new Mac Pro after almost six years in 2019, which, unlike the current variant, should again present a much more modular design to allow the exchange of components in a few simple steps. In addition, it should again give an Apple monitor, which should dissolve to a size of 31.6 inches with a maximum of 6K.
New iPod touch, AirPods 2 and AirPower
Also in terms of accessories, Apple should propose this year a lot of novelties. For this one would like to submit the iPod touch to a new cell treatment and equip it with a new processor. For its part, Kuo could not specify a publication period, but for AirPods 2 and AirPower. Both devices will be marketed in the first half of the year. The new AirPods should have an improved Bluetooth connection and introduce the promised wireless charging for a long time.
Apple Watch: ceramic case and electronic ballast
Kuo also adds information about the Apple Watch to his report. This is again to get a ceramic case option after Apple has removed it for Series 4.
