Now, there are only 5 weeks left before Britain officially leaves the European Union
– new surveys commissioned by Euronews show the huge disparity of knowledge about Brexit across the continent.
The Populus survey shows that nearly a third of French and Italians think that the UK has already left the EU.
Asked about the consequences for Britain, nearly two-thirds of Germans think that Brexit will cause considerable damage in the UK. In the United Kingdom, the opinion on the EU remains divided.
