Roslyn Mold
West African Humanist Network is pleased to announce the appointment of Roslyn Mold as Coordinator. Ms. Mold is a past president of the Humanist Association of Ghana and a former chair of the Task Force on Young African Humanists. As coordinator of the network, she will work to strengthen organized humanism in West Africa.
The creation of the West African Humanist Network was discussed at a humanist conference in Ghana in 2012. Unfortunately, little has been accomplished since then to develop the network. Ms. Mold will work to revive and reposition this strategic humanist body. In addition to her new role, Ms. Mold will work in partnership with another humanist and human rights organization to promote common goals and objectives.

Said Mrs. Mold.
Leo Igwe, chairman of the board of directors of the Humanist Association of Nigeria, said:
"We are delighted that Ms. Mold is devoting her experiences and talents to the development of the subregional network and to promoting the growth and development of humanism and secular values in Africa. West With only a handful of humanist organizations active in the ECOWAS Member States, Ms. Mold surely has all her work and we look forward to working with her and helping her succeed in her new role.
