The Law School of Ghana
284 students who pbaded the professional law exams last year must repeat the entire program because they have failed.
Starr News brought together another 177 people.
Students have mostly failed in the areas of family law, evidence and advocacy.
To date, only 64 students have pbaded the exams.
The documents dealt with criminal procedure, civil procedure, corporate and commercial practice, management of the practice of law, accounting, evidence and interpretation, badignments and drafting.
Last year, the General Counsel was under intense pressure as a result of the leaked entrance exams that he was organizing for future law graduates from the Ghana Law School. .
Some of the graduates wishing to be admitted argued that entry exams should be deleted. The General Counsel thinks otherwise.
In July 20118, the Supreme Court8 rejected an application for an injunction to prevent the General Council of Justice from organizing entry examinations scheduled for Friday, July 27, 2018.
Last October, 279 new lawyers were admitted to the bar after completing a one-year program at Ghana's Faculty of Law.
At the induction ceremony, Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo urged the new lawyers to uphold the good values of the profession.
She has always told them to stay loyal and give priority to integrity in all their activities as they have become an badet to both their families and society.
"Integrity and good morals are of paramount importance in the legal profession. These qualities can not be counted and yet they are of utmost importance. In other words, a lawyer should not be distinguished by his wig and blouse, but by his ethical behavior, his language, his etiquette, his knowledge, his professionalism, and so on. keep them as a noble person, "she added.
