How to watch the BRIT 2019: What time and what channel is it on TV tonight?

That does not seem to be like a year ago since the biggest music stars were walking on the red carpet with BRIT's white roses to support the Time's Up and #Metoo movements, before Stormzy got off the ground. May Theresa May for her response to the Grenfell Tower Fire 2017. But the 2019 BRITs are just a matter of hours.

It's the UK's answer to Grammy's and has seen a number of iconic outfits (think of Geri Halliwell's Union Jack dress) and we can not wait to see the red carpet this year.

The announced performances will not be disappointing. Kendrick Lemar, Rita Ora, Liam Payne, Cheryl, Drake and Rihanna were among the previous years.

Mastercard is the long-term sponsor of the most prestigious music awards ceremony in the UK. So, what's going on this year, when is it on television and how can you watch it?

BRIT on TV

Do not make plans for tonight (Wednesday, February 20) when you can see all the awards, speeches and performances on ITV. The ceremony will take place from 19:30 to 21:30 and will be broadcast with a slight delay during the live broadcast from 20:00 to 22:20 to allow the resolution of unexpected problems or swear words.

Streaming on Facebook and YouTube

There will be a live webcast of Facebook Red Carpet starting at 4:30 pm, hosted by Jamie Laing and Yasmin Evans.

YouTuber Todrick Hall will present the YouTube live stream of the show to an international audience starting at 7:45 pm GMT / 2:45 pm (ET) / 11:45 am (local time), accompanied by co-host Vick Hope.

Once the show is over, they will continue to broadcast an official after-party on YouTube.

BRIT nominations

Long-awaited nominations have been announced on Saturday, January 12th. Anne-Marie and Dua Lipa are the leaders, while George Ezra and Jorja Smith each have three nominations.

Who plays?

Hugh Jackman will open the show and the star will be Calvin Harris. One can also expect to see performances of Little Mix, George Ezra Jorja Smith and The 1975.

Where are the British standing?

The ceremony will take place at London's O2 for the 9th consecutive year.
