Kotoko striker Zabo Teguy reveals his personal targets

Dani Zabo Teguy, the newly recruited Ivorian striker, told Kotoko Express that he would fight for a place in the starting lineup of coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor, unveiling his ambitions in Kotoko.

The striker, who was one of two new recruits in the January transfer window, said he wanted to win the title of king of the league goal and also push the club into the Confederations Cup. CAF.

Teguy has already arrived on the side of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage and needs all the punching power that he can master to stay afloat in the competition.

The Ivorian admitted in his first interview with the club the enormous talent of the team, but said he had his eyes riveted to become the top national scorer and he would do everything possible to attract the attention of CK Akonnor.

"I want to be the top scorer in the Ghana Premier League on his return," said the soft-spoken player. "I also want to have a positive impact on the CAF Confederation Cup to help Kotoko reach its goal in the competition."

"I see that the players here are very good," he continued. "I see them playing on the training grounds and I'm happy to be part of such a talented group of players."

"It will not be difficult for me to get into the first team or the starting lineup," said Teguy in response to a question about how easy or difficult it would be for him to make sure a starting place.
