Prince William spoke angrily while Kate Middleton, a photographer "harbaded" on his birthday, revealed a documentary.
The second line of the throne was furious when a group of paparazzi had gathered in front of his love apartment in Chelsea, in West London.
A clip discovered by The Express indicates that the prince was far from happy after photographers put cameras in his face and blocked the path of his vehicle.
The incident, recounted in the documentary Chasing The Royals, took place on Kate's 25th birthday in January 2007, before the couple became engaged.
According to rumors that William was about to propose it, the interest for the young couple was high.
The narrator of the program said: "An angry Prince William issued a statement to the press to stop harbading his girlfriend.
"Kate and he finally moved to a remote corner of Wales."
In a statement to the press, William said, "Prince William is very unhappy with the paparazzi harbadment of his girlfriend.
"He wants, more than anything, that it stops.
"Miss Middleton should, like any other private person, be able to carry out her daily tasks without this kind of intrusion.
"The situation is unbearable for all concerned."
