Some of Marvel's best known superheroes will feature on stamps throughout the UK, announced today the Royal Mail.
(And, yes, that includes both Captain Britain and Union Jack.)
The stamps will go on sale from March 14th, but a pre-order site has already been set up, allowing fans to order stamps featuring Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, etc.
While the stamps clearly celebrate the COMICS side of Marvel, the game evokes popular movie characters, from the choice of heroes to a collectible package containing the Avengers: war in the infinite and Avengers: End of the game the wicked Thanos.
Here is the official description of the package, via the Royal Mail website:

Give the Marvel super fan of your life this superb presentation box that contains the 15 new Royal Mail Marvel stamps, the ten first-clbad superhero stamps, as well as the Miniature Sheet cartoon, which features five other stamps. Packed with bonus features, including:
- An original folding illustration specially commissioned by Marvel comic book artist, Neil Edwards, representing each of the ten Super Heroes opposed to their respective characters.
- A set of stickers including sound effects, logos and comic books to help you create your own Super Hero adventure.
- The ten original Super Hero pencil sketches printed behind each stamp.
- A separate protective support for the postage stamp sheet featuring a striking image of Thanos.
While he did not work on the flyer, BD scene reports that the stamps themselves were drawn by the fan favorite artist, Alan Davis. There are some close-ups of his Spider-Man art and Captain Britain here.
The United States Postal Service has already issued several DC and Marvel stamps, including the 75th anniversary celebrations of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. The Marvel stamps of the Royal Mail celebrate the 80th anniversary of the publisher.
