As the journey of Pepper Potts draws to a close, actress Gwyneth Paltrow is committed to being always present for her fiancé on screen.
The co-star of Iron Man Crossed took on social media to convey a message touching Robert Downey Jr., ensuring that the cornerstone of the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise will be backed up whenever he will need it.
The actress was referring to her impending retirement, announced in a recent interview with Variety.
"I mean, I'm a little old to be in a suit and all that at this point," said Paltrow. "I feel very lucky to have done it, because I got talked to about it. I was friends with[[[[Iron Man director]Jon Favreau. It was a wonderful experience to make the first Iron Man, and to see how important it is to the fans. "
Although she would not take on a major role or sign more multi-film contracts with Marvel Studios in the near future, Paltrow made it clear that she was open to appearances in future films.
"I feel honored to be part of something that fascinates people so much," she said. "Of course, if they said," Can you come back for a day? ", I will always be there if they need me."
The connection Paltrow / Downey Jr. is one of the pillars of the Marvel film universe since their first film more than 10 years ago with Iron Man. Over the past decade, Pepper Potts has become an integral part of Tony Stark's life, and it seems like it will continue in Avengers: End of the game.
While talking with the official magazine of Avengers: war in the infinitePaltrow might have let out a spoiler when she revealed that both could have a child at the time of the new movie.
"Pepper and Tony have been on a very long journey together," said Paltrow. "She obviously begins by being her devoted badistant, then the relationship evolves.Today, ten years later, they are married and have a child.Their relationship has evolved in the same way as the big stories of. love."
In addition, according to many rumors (and all confirmed), Potts would dress again, now donning the Rescue Man-esque Iron Armor, just like his cartoon counterpart.
We'll see if Paltrow can play a superhero in good faith when Avengers: End of the game premieres in theaters on April 26.
