The popular Akorino model, Pesh Kenya, was forced to apologize after sharing photos of her in swimsuits.

Pesh, nicknamed also the elegant Akorino, shared the photos capturing her dressed in a black bathing suit up to her knees.

Although her swimming outfit is not as revealing as most people opt for a two-part bikini, this did not stop some Kenyans on Twitter from chastising her for being "naked".

Akorino is a religious group mainly found in the Agikuyu tribe. It is said that the word Mukurino means who is the liberator (Jesus)?

It's for this simple reason that many would have expected it to be more "reserved".

"I would like to apologize to anyone who might have been offended by images posted on my social media pages. I believe that people can express themselves in many ways and always keep their morals, "Pesh tweeted.

She added, "The images shared were innocent, but the conversation they sparked does not correspond to what I represent as a young Akorino woman. Thank you for your support and I wish you all a good week. "

His excuses divide the opinion on social media, the netizens taking opposite positions.

Phyllis Mugi said: "You owe no excuse to anyone for doing what you feel is right and like!"

Mulladih wrote: "Do you take your showers dressed? Should not be a victim of swimsuits. "

Tkay commented, "Pesh guys will always talk, pls live your life, you can not please everyone. Are you a girl?

Qneyt asked, "Some of us have been offended because you have wasted our packages. Hizo ni nini ulikuwa umevaa sasa. Kwani ulikuwa waenda jogging kwa maji?

Peter Pete said: "Anyone who takes offense at these images needs prayers."

Idlesignalnyanusi said: "Bora kilemba ilikuwa intact, huko kwingine waambie you judge watuachie."

Kev Muller wrote: "It all starts like this, and before you know it … you will excuse yourself for almost everything. Live your life, girl.

Dennis Gwaro said, "Nobody is offended Pesh. Download more of them. We deserve all the happiness that the world can offer. "
