Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central, revealed that, aside from the fact that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) rejects its members, its financiers in the Ashanti region have been abandoned, angry and disappointed, reports MyNewsGh.com.

According to him, people who have never contributed to the fortunes of the party are rather those who enjoy lucrative contracts while those who financed campaigns licking their wounds in misery.

"Sunday, when you go to Ridge Park, you will see ashanti businessmen and support … they are all a few, they all supported the NPP but the current government gave them nothing but you still give contracts to Kofi Job. God punishes the people who brought Kofi Job to the president, "he said of Kumasi-based Ashh FM in an interview with MyNewsGh.com.

He revealed that the NDC had found ways to build its businessmen with contracts and resources, but this is not the case given the current waiver, which deplores the fact that members his party continue to treat these people to the detriment of its troubled members.

"Today, nuclear power plants can not create entrepreneurs …. is that what they want to tell me? NDC can mobilize you up to 60% to start the works, which means that they funded the project for you … the cost of the project was funded. They gave you the money so that the next time you do some work, you use the government money to run it and wait for your profits … why could not the NPP do it if NDC did this to promote their businessmen. Today, about 80% of the rich men in the country have eaten NDC, even under our watch, they are the very ones we are dealing with. So when our supporters sit down, they ask what's going on. When I sit down and see people from the power station complaining, I feel scared and guilty, "he said.

He warned the party to remain cautious about how it was marginalizing its members and baderted that it was a recipe for defeat although it admitted that the party had behaved well in terms of # 39; interventions.

"We did well more than the NDC. You can not compare the NPP to the NDC. We seem to be more socialist than the so-called socialist party, the NDC. The president, the ministers and the other appointed members should not neglect the base, "he advised.
