CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) – The measles outbreak in Clark County has reached 64 confirmed cases on Thursday, and two more cases are suspected, according to health officials.
Clark County Public Health provided another update on Thursday, indicating that another case had been confirmed since Wednesday.
No new locations have been added to the list of exhibition sites. The complete list can be found here.
The ages of the confirmed cases are:
- 1 to 10 years: 46 cases
- 11 to 18 years: 15 cases
- 19 to 29 years old: a case
- 30 to 39 years: two cases
Of the total confirmed cases, 56 concern people who have not been immunized. Two people received a measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, while another six have unverified immunization status.
Anyone who thinks they have been exposed is asked to call their health care provider before going to the doctor's office to develop a plan that avoids exposing another person. People who think they have measles symptoms should not go directly to a doctor's office, an emergency treatment center or an emergency department – unless they have a medical emergency – without phoning. in advance.
