Lime hired Ted Tobiason, former chief technology officer, Morgan Stanley, to take up the position of chief financial officer.
This follows Lime's victory over a $ 310 million Series D earlier this month. Led by Bain Capital Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Fidelity Ventures, GV and IVP, the round values lime at $ 2.4 billion.
Lime, which started as a self-service bicycle company, has deployed its scooters and bikes in more than 100 cities in the United States and 27 international cities. Since June, Lime has more than doubled the number of cities it operates in the United States. Lime has also teamed up with Uber to offer Lime scooters in the Uber app.
In addition, Lime recently hired Nancy Lee, formerly of Google, to lead his human resources efforts as a human resources manager. Lee previously worked at Google as a Diversity Officer. She retired from the company in December 2016, but has since found a new home with Lime.
"During her tenure at Google, Nancy played a key role in encouraging Google to publicly disclose her diversity demographics," Lime wrote in a blog post. "His commitment to inclusivity and transparency will be instrumental in leading Lime's intercultural team in 2019 and beyond."
Lime was recently hired to recruit new talent, completing the ranks of his management team. Earlier this month, Lime appointed his engineering director, Li Fan, to the position of chief technology officer and hired Duke Stump, formerly of Lululemon, to badume the role of CMO.
