Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti congratulated his team for their concentration even though they had one foot on the next lap Victory 2-0 against FC Zurich on Thursday.
The result means that the Azzurri are qualified for the knockout stages of the Europa League, thanks in large part to their 3-1 first-leg victory.
Ancelotti congratulated his players for taking Thursday's game seriously despite their advantage, but also singled out striker Adam Ounas.
"We have reached our goal and I am happy," he told Sky Sport Italia after the match. "The most important part of this type of game is to take it seriously, regardless of the outcome.
"We did not do anything special, but we showed professionalism.
"[Adam] Ounas has done something special for his goal, and he can do it when he has the ball. There are many who are able to do it, and he is one of the few who can do it.
"He has to make the most of the talent he has and these opportunities."
Despite the 2-0 win, Ancelotti could not help but think that Naples missed too many chances.
